Al Ahli face Umm Salal in Week 9 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:15 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Friday, 1st November, 2019.

Al Ahli had lost 1-2 to Al Sadd in the previous round, so they are keen to bag full points in their bid to finish among the top four. The Brigadiers have 10 points with three victories, one draw and four defeats against their name.

Umm Salal are also coming from a defeat as they lost 0-5 to Qatar SC. The result saw their Spanish coach Raul Caneda being replaced by Tunisian Ahmed El Abyad.

Umm Salal, who used to regularly end up in the top rung, have only five points and they need to pull up their socks sooner rather than later if they are to get a respectable finish in this season’s QNB Stars League.
