Two games each will be played in Week 8 of the QNB Stars League on Friday, 5th October, Saturday, 6th October, and Sunday, 7th October. The fixtures are Al Gharafa vs Al Arabi (17:40) at Al Gharafa Stadium and Qatar SC vs Al Kharaitiyat (19:50) at Qatar SC Stadium on Friday, 5th October, Al Khor vs Al Rayyan (17:40) at Al Khor Stadium and Al Shahania vs Al Ahli (19:50) at Al Arabi Stadium on Saturday, 6th October, and Al Duhail vs Umm Salal (17:40) at Al Duhail Stadium and Al Sadd vs Al Sailiya (19:50) at Al Sadd Stadium on Sunday, 7th October.

Two matches each will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

To start with, Al Arabi will travel to Al Gharafa along with their passionate fans with nothing less than victory in mind after losing to Al Sailiya and subsequently slipping from the fourth to sixth position.

On the other hand, Al Gharafa will desperately seek to make a turnaround in their fortunes, having lost their last three matches.

All that make the encounter one to watch out for.

Al Gharafa, seventh in the QNB Stars League standings, too will not be devoid of crowd support.

The Al Gharafa vs Al Arabi clash will be followed by Qatar SC vs Al Kharaitiyat match.

Qatar SC have only one win and a draw to show for their efforts, and had changed the coach.

Al Kharaitiyat made it big for the first time last week as they scored an upset victory over Al Gharafa to collect their first points.

Al Khor play Al Rayyan in Saturday’s first fixture. The other action of the day is between Al Shahania and Al Ahli.

Al Khor are at the bottom with just two points. It is against this backdrop that they host Al Rayyan, who are fourth with 14 points.

Big guns Al Sadd and Al Duhail, who occupy the first and second position respectively, will be seen in action on Sunday.

The Al Duhail vs Umm Salal game will be followed by Al Sadd vs Al Sailiya clash.

Al Duhail are second behind Al Sadd on goal difference, while Umm Salal are fifth with 13 points after completing a hat-trick of victories.

Al Sadd and Al Sailiya are both coming off wins, the former defeating Qatar SC and the latter putting it across Al Arabi.
