The tussle between Al Ahli vs Al Rayyan in Week 5 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League is sure to be fought keenly at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Saturday.

Sparks fly when Al Ahli and Al Rayyan always face off, both on and off the field also because of the large fan base of these two clubs.

Al Ahli and Al Rayyan are both on six points, but the latter are placed ahead of Al Ahli in fifth position on better goal difference.

Al Rayyan have a goal difference of +2 (five goals for and three against) compared to Al Ahli’s 0 (eight goals for and as many against).

Al Ahli won two matches (3-0 against Al Sailiya and 3-2 against Al Khor (3-2). However, The Brigadiers lost to Al Arabi and Al Arabi, both by a 1-3 margin.

Al Rayyan could register their first victory only last week 2-0 against Al Khor) after three consecutive draws (2-2 against Umm Salal, goalless against Al Gharafa and 1-1 against Al Duhail).

Al Ahli, under Ruben de la Barrera, have a line-up that includes Nabil El Zahr, Mohamed Diame, Abel Mathias and Abdullah Al Ahraq.

Al Rayyan boast of Yacine Brahimi, Rodrigo Tabata, Ahmed Abdelmaksoud and Mohamed Alaa among others.
