Al Rayyan face Al Khor in an interesting clash in Week 4 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League at the Al Janoub Stadium on Saturday.

Al Khor have four points from one victory and a draw, and Al Rayyan have not won a game so far and drew all matches to be on three points.

Al Khor drew 1-1 with Al Sailiya in Week 1 before defeating Umm Salal 1-0. The Knights then lost 2-3 to Al Ahli.

Al Rayyan’s draws were against Umm Salal (2-2), Al Gharafa (0-0) and Al Duhail (1-1).

Al Khor have a goal difference of 0 (four goals for and four against), whereas The Lions also have a goal difference of 0, having scored three goals and conceded as many.

The Al Rayyan line-up consists of Rodrigo Tabata, Yacine Brahimi, Gabriel Mercado, Mohammed Alaaeldin and Fahd Younis, while Al Khor comprise Helal Mohammed, Nayef Al Buriki, Wagner Ferreira and Ahmed Hammoudan.

Al Rayyan coach Diego Aguirre had stressed the need for them to script a victory when he spoke at the pre-match Press conference. That they have scored only three goals in as many games underlines the Uruguayan’s cause of worry that his wards are not delivering in front of the goal.

Aguirre’s Al Khor counterpart Omar Najhi said they were all focused on the Al Rayyan match and that they had no injury worries.
