Al Shahania have their task cut out as they run into Al Gharafa in Week 22 of the QNB Stars League on Saturday, 13th April. The kick-off is at 18:20 at the Al Gharafa Stadium.

Both teams go into the match having assured their stay in the top flight. Al Shahania are in eighth place with 24 points, while Al Gharafa are seventh with 26 points.

Al Shahania have been doing well with some good results ever since they earned promotion to the 2018-19 season QNB Stars League. Spanish coach Jose Murcia has succeeded in transforming them into a gritty unit.

Al Shahania have six wins, as many draws and nine defeats against their name. Their goal difference is -10 (23 goals for and 33 against).

They are in great form, as was evident from their 5-2 victory over Umm Salal in Week 21.

Al Gharafa had to play out a goalless draw with Al Khor last week. The Cheetahs have won seven games, drawn five and lost nine. Their goal difference is -2 (34 goals for and 36 against).

It may be recalled that Al Gharafa just managed to finish in the fourth position last season, edging Umm Salal to the fifth place in the final round.

Al Gharafa and Al Shahania played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg.
