The stage is set for the QNB Stars League Week 21 action. All matches will be played on Thursday, 4th April.

The fixtures are Al Kharaitiyat vs Al Duhail (18:10) at Al Ahli Stadium, Al Khor vs Al Gharafa (18:10) at Al Khor Stadium, Al Sadd vs Al Ahli (18:10) at Al Sadd Stadium, Qatar SC vs Al Arabi (18:10) at Qatar SC Stadium, Al Rayyan vs Al Sailiya (20:20) at Al Ahli Stadium and Umm Salal vs Al Shahania (20:20) at Qatar SC Stadium.

The Qatar Stars League decided to hold all matches on one day in order to give all 12 teams equal advantage.

The final round of matches (Week 22) will be played either on 12th or 13th April. The kick-off timings and venues will be decided later.

In Week 21, four matches will be kicked off at 18:10 and two at 20:20.

Bottom-placed Al Kharaitiyat, 12 points, are up against reigning champions Al Duhail, who have 47 points. The confrontation is of great importance to both teams.

Al Duhail, who held leaders Al Sadd to a 2-2 draw last week thus denying the latter from being crowned as the new champions, cannot afford a slip-up as they still have chance to triumph. Al Kharaitiyat are fully aware that they stare at relegation with only two matches remaining. So The Thunders are sure to go all out.

Seventh-placed Al Gharafa (25 points) take on Al Khor (10th with 18 points) with an eye to improve their position even though they cannot finish among the top four this season.

On the other hand, Al Khor are still not completely out of danger zone and will look to sustain the winning momentum, having defeated Al Kharaitiyat in Week 20 by a big margin.

Next up is Al Sadd vs Ahli. The Wolves (51 points) will win the title for a record-extending 14th time if they put it across The Brigadiers (fifth with 33 points) no matter the result of Al Duhail.

In the event of Al Sadd winning the match, they will be crowned on their home turf.

Meanwhile, Al Ahli are tied with fourth-placed Al Rayyan on 33 points, so they will be keen to collect points in their bid to finish in the top-four bracket.

Qatar SC, 11th with 16 points, face Al Arabi with relegation threat in mind. Al Arabi are sixth with 27 points.

Al Rayyan and third-placed Al Sailiya will take the field with top-four finish at stake as the latter have only one point more than the former (33 points).

Al Shahania will surely have a point to prove when they play Umm Salal.
