<p>Qatar SC beat Al Khor 2-1 in Week 19 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League at the Qatar SC Stadium on Friday.</p><p>Al Khor’s Giannis Fetfatzidid (21st-minute penalty) opened the scoring, but Qatar SC hit back with goals from Hamed Ismail (55th minute) and Bashar Resan (72nd minute).</p><p>Qatar SC stormed back into the top-four bracket with 31 points.</p><p>On the other hand, Al Khor failed to add to their tally of 14 and remained in the 11th position.</p><p>Al Khor’s Khaled Radwan’s snap-header off a long free-kick set the tone for an entertaining clash. The deflection from him hit the Qatar SC crossbar much to the relief of rivals in the third minute.</p><p>Seven minutes later, Youcef Belaili of Qatar SC clipped one from close range, but Al Khor keeper Baba Djibril put in a short dive to pouch the ball.</p><p>Yousef Ayman of Qatar SC handled the ball in his own box and the referee used a VAR move to award a penalty. Al Khor captain Giannis produced a blistering left-footed penalty kick that hit the net to the right of keeper Jassim Al Hail.</p><p>Soon after the half-hour mark, Al Khor’s Pierre-Michelle Lasogga produced a powerful shot inside the box, but Qatar SC’s Yousef Ayman blocked the move by thrusting his body in the line of the ball.</p><p>In injury time, Qatar SC’s Bashar clipped one close from range, but this chip shot hit the Al Khor crossbar.</p><p>Soon after resumption of play, Qatar SC’s Cristian Ceballos went long range on a shot from outside the box, but the Al Khor keeper parried the ball.</p><p>In the 55th minute, Qatar SC produced the equaliser. Bashar found Hamed Ismail with a loopy cross and the latter jumped high to head the ball into the net.</p><p>In the 68th minute, Al Khor’s Rafael Santos produced a curling free-kick, but his shot narrowly missed the target as the ball flew past to the right of Qatar SC keeper.</p><p>Four minutes later, Qatar SC grabbed a 2-1 lead. Bashar, after charging into the Al Khor box, dribbled past Musab Abdulmajid and then fired into the top of the net, leaving Djibril rooted to his spot.</p>
