The QNB Stars League Week 17 matches will be played on Thursday, 21st February, Friday, 22nd February, and Saturday, 23rd February.

The fixtures are Al Ahli vs Al Sailiya (17:50) at Al Ahli Stadium, Al Arabi vs Al Shahania (20:10) at Al Arabi Stadium on Friday, Al Khor vs Qatar SC (16:50) at Al Khor Stadium, Umm Salal vs Al Kharaitiyat (19:10) at Al Duhail Stadium on Friday, Al Gharafa vs Al Duhail (16:50) at Al Sadd Stadium and Al Rayyan vs Al Sadd (19:10) at Al Sadd Stadium on Saturday.

The Umm Salal vs Al Kharaitiyat game on 22nd February and Al Gharafa vs Al Duhail match on 23rd February have been moved from the Al Gharafa Stadium to Al Duhail Stadium and Al Sadd Stadium respectively.

The changes were made in order to prepare the Al Gharafa Stadium to host the Tunisian Super Cup between Esperance and Club Africain on 24th February.

Thrilling contests are in the offing. The highlight will be the Qatar Clasico between Al Sadd and Al Rayyan.

Al Ahli and Al Sailiya will open the week’s action. The battle between the fourth-placed and fifth-placed teams will set the tone and tenor for the games to follow.

Al Ahli are fourth with 29 points and Al Sailiya one point behind them.

Al Ahli defeated Al Kharaitiyat 2-1, while Al Sailiya went down fighting to reigning champions Al Duhail 0-1 in the last round.

Next up are Al Arabi and Al Shahania.

Al Arabi, sixth with 21 points, are coming off a 1-3 defeat to Al Rayyan as against Al Shahania’s goalless draw with Qatar SC that took their points tally to 17. Promoted side Al Shahania are ninth on 17 points.

Al Khor, 11th with nine points, will look to gain points when they take on Qatar SC, 10th with 16 points. Al Khor had lost 2-6 to Al Sadd in Week 16.

Umm Salal’s confidence will be high when they face Al Kharaitiyat challenge.

Umm Salal pulled off a 2-1 win over Al Gharafa to be sixth with 20 points. On the other hand, Al Kharaitiyat stayed rooted to the bottom with only three points after losing to Al Ahli.

Al Gharafa, eighth with 18 points, play Al Duhail, second with 39 points, in a big match, which will be followed by the high-profile Qatar Clasico on Saturday. Al Sadd are the leaders with 41 points and Al Rayyan third with 30 points.
