Al Ahli face Al Gharafa in Week 15 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 18:55 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Thursday, 20th February, 2020.

It is the second time in successive weeks that Al Ahli and Al Gharafa are facing off as the former beat the latter in the Ooredoo Cup quarterfinals, with captain Nabil El Zhar netting the all-important goal.

The Brigadiers had also reached the Amir Cup quarterfinals by beating Qatar SC 2-1 two weeks ago.

Al Ahli, coached by Nebojsa Jovovic, are currently eighth with 17 points (five wins, two draws and seven defeats). Their goal difference is -6 (19 goals for and 25 against).

On the other hand, Al Gharafa, under the tutelage of Slavisa Jokanovic, would be looking to put behind the disappointment of having exited from two cup tournaments in consecutive weeks.

The Cheetahs had bowed out of the Amir Cup in the pre-quarterfinal stage after losing 0-1 to Second Division side Al Markhiya before they suffered the setback in Ooredoo Cup, where they were two-time defending champions.

Al Gharafa are presently fourth in the QNB Stars League table with 24 points (seven victories, three draws and four defeats). Their goal difference is +6 (26 goals for and 20 against).

Al Gharafa had beaten Al Ahli 3-1 in the first leg of 2019-20 QNB Stars League.
