Al Kharaitiyat play host to Al Sailiya in the last match of Week 11 of the QNB Stars League on Sunday, 4th November. The kick-off is at 19:25 at the Al Khor Stadium.

Al Kharaitiyat are placed last with only three points they collected from their victory over Al Gharafa in Week 7. They had lost 1-4 to Al Duhail last week after taking the lead.

So Al Kharaitiyat are badly in need of points than any other side. They just about managed to avoid relegation last season by winning the play-off against Second Division runners-up Al Wakrah.

The Thunders have the worst goal difference (-18), having scored eight goals and conceded 26.

Moroccan coach Abdelaziz El Amri will only hope his team will bag some points sooner rather than later as 11th-placed team Al Khor have eight points.

Al Sailiya, despite occupying the fourth position with 16 points, will also be more keen to register a win after going three matches without a victory.

The Peregrines have five wins, one draw and four defeats against their name. Their goal difference is +3 (16 goals for and 13 against).

Al Sailiya suffered successive losses against Al Shahania (1-3), Al Rayyan (1-2) and Al Duhail (0-1).

The game against Al Duhail was a held-over fixture from Week 5 that was rescheduled owing to Al Duhail’s AFC Champions League commitment.

Victory will also help Al Sailiya keep their spot in the top four as Umm Salal and Al Ahli (both 15 points) are breathing down their neck. Al Gharafa are also there with 14 points.
