Al Gharafa face Umm Salal in Week 10 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 19:20 at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Saturday, 9th November, 2019.

Al Gharafa, coached by Slavisa Jokanovic, have been in good form lately and are on 17 points. The Cheetahs have five victories and two draws, while they lost two games. They have a goal difference of +7 (18 goals for and 11 against).

Al Gharafa, who beat Al Khor 3-1 last week, will eye nothing less than a victory against Umm Salal in their bid to stay in the top-four bracket.

On the contrary, Umm Salal are in a precarious position with only five points (one victory, six defeats and two draws). The Orange Fortress’ goal difference is -12 (seven goals for and 19 against).

Umm Salal, who lost 0-1 to Al Ahli last week, need to produce some positive results sooner rather than later in order to stay away from the danger zone. They will be taking the field against Al Gharafa under new coach and their former captain Aziz Ben Askar.

The Moroccan replaced Ahmed Labiath, who was the caretaker after the dismissal of Spaniard Raul Caneda following a series of negative results. Umm Salal used to regularly make a respectable finish in the league and it is up to Ben Askar to make a turnaround in the team’s fortunes.
