In order to motivate players under the age of 23, the Qatar Stars League started awarding the best player in the category from this season onwards, along with the best player and best coach.

Khalid Muneer of Al Wakrah has been adjudged the QNB Stars League’s best Under-23 player for the months of October & November, 2019.

Khalid, one of Al Wakrah's key players, has a crucial role to play in the team’s Spanish coach Marquez Lopez’s scheme of things.

He played in Al Wakrah’s all five matches and scored a goal during the period. The midfielder spent a total of 364.0 minutes on the pitch, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League.

Al Wakrah drew 3-3 with Al Gharafa, lost 1-3 to Al Sailiya, drew goalless with Al Khor, drew 2-2 with Al Arabi and beat Al Ahli 2-1 to collect six points.
