Al Khor coach Omar Najhi spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 19 match against Al Wakrah.
“Our match against Al Wakrah is important and it is one of the five games through which we can decide our fate (whether we will stay in the top flight or not). We must be positive with everything that happens, especially in the circumstances which the team is going through.
“And we have put behind the loss to Al Sadd and do not blame anyone and even the player who wasted a penalty kick. The penalty is a very big effort and the players will be a key factor in overcoming the current circumstance. There can be a change in the squad depending on the tactical situation we will play with and we trust our team,” said Omar.
Al Khor goalkeeper Baba Djibril said, “The upcoming confrontation is important for our team and we hope to present what we aspire to. It is a strong match against Al Wakrah, whom we respect very much.
“We have trained in the same way that we train for any match and we will take the field strongly in order to achieve victory and get three points, which will be very important for us in the league. We have no other choice.”
