Qatar SC coach Carlos Alos Ferrer spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Al Wakrah.

“Our problem was lack of focus, we’ve to win points against Al Wakrah. We know that it’ll be a difficult game. Al Wakrah are a good team regardless of their loss in the first match to Al Sadd.

“We’re ready for this confrontation, it’s important that strong performance must be accompanied by points. We prepared very well and we’ll focus against Al Wakrah in order to collect points.

“Our loss to Al Duhail was sad because the goals came from a lack of focus in the last minutes. I told the players we should focus on the game from the beginning till the last. I’m happy with the performance because players did what I asked them, but lack of focus cost us dear. That saddened me.

“Uzbek player Sardor Rashidov is an important player for us, especially on the offensive front. I don’t know if he’ll be able to play this game or not because we’re waiting for his international card."

"There’re young players in the team who need experience, but it comes with participation in more and more games. That’s what we’ll do for them. We’ve to fight with this group of players,” said Ferrer.
