Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Qatar SC.

“We did a good job during the break to equip the team in a better way for the next stage. We’ve rectified our negatives. We’ll work to win three points.

“That’s our goal in all the games and we’ve prepared the team. We hope to appear well and achieve what we expect from this match.

“In the games, there’re challenges between the players and I look at these things on a positive note. It’s important for me to approach a match with a high level of respect for the spirit of sports.

“We’ll face a Qatar SC team that has some new players. On the other hand, they lost the services of Osama Omari due to an injury. The difference in points between us just one point. They’re direct competitors for us. So three points are very crucial.

“We still have seven games left and everyone knows that competition becomes very difficult at this stage of the league. The most important thing is to maintain the confidence and not go into complacency,” said Murcia.
