Al Wakrah coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 3 match against Al Shahania.

“Al Shahania have some good players in their ranks even if they don’t have any point and are at the bottom of the table. The game will be a good opportunity for us to strengthen our position ahead of difficult encounters.

“Our aim is to win every game. Thankfully, we don’t have any injury worries and our team is ready to face Al Shahania. We could strike a right balance between our offence and defence.

“Al Shahania lost to two strong teams (Al Gharafa and Al Sadd), so they can’t be taken lightly,” said Marquez.
