Umm Salal face Al Shahania in Round 5 (Group A) of the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup at the Al Khor Stadium on Sunday.

Al Ahli, Al Wahrah and Al Rayyan qualified for the knockout quarterfinals after Round 4, so the fight is between Al Sadd (four points) and Umm Salal (three points) for the remaining last-eight berth from Group A.

Umm Salal have not registered a win. They lost one game (0-2 to Al Ahli) and drew three (goalless against Al Wakrah, 2-2 against Al Rayyan and 2-2 against Al Sadd) to have a goal difference of -2 (four goals for and six against).

On the other hand, Al Shahania have nothing to lose as they are out of contention for a quarterfinal berth, lying at the bottom of the table with one point. They have not won a match and lost three, while drawing one to have a goal difference of -6 (two goals for and eight against).

 Al Shahania lost 0-3 to Al Rayyan, 1-3 to Al Sadd and 1-2 to Al Ahli. They played out a goalless draw with Al Wakrah.
