Qatar SC face Al Khor in Round 5 (Group B) of the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup at the Al Khor Stadium on Saturday.

The match is mainly of academic interest for the teams as they both had progressed to the knockout quarterfinals following their victories last week. Qatar SC defeated Al Duhail 1-0, while Al Khor put it across Al Sailiya 2-1.

Al Khor are leading the Group B table with 10 points. Qatar SC have the same number of points, but were placed second on goal difference.

Both teams have recorded three victories and one draw each.

Qatar SC had beaten Al Sailiya 4-0 and Al Gharafa 3-0, whereas Al Khor’s other victories were against Al Duhail (7-0) and Al Gharafa (3-1).

Qatar SC drew 1-1 with Al Arabi, while Al Khor’s only draw was also against Al Arabi (1-1).

Qatar SC have a goal difference of +8 (nine goals for and one against).

Al Khor’s goal difference is +10 (13 goals for and three against).

Al Arabi, third in the group with six points, were the other side that advanced into the knockout stage.
