Al Sailiya face Al Gharafa in Round 5 (Group B) of the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup at the Al Wakrah Stadium on Saturday.

Al Sailiya and Al Gharafa go into the game in contrasting moods.

Al Sailiya are out of contention for a quarterfinal berth as they are lying at the bottom of the table with just a point, that they collected from their 2-2 draw with Al Duhail in the third round.

The Peregrines lost 0-4 to Qatar SC, 1-2 to Al Arabi and 1-2 to Al Khor in the last round. They have a goal difference of -6 (four goals for and 10 against).

On the other hand, reigning champions Al Gharafa have a chance to become the fourth team to make it to the knockout quarterfinals, after Al Khor, Qatar SC and Al Arabi.

Al Gharafa and Al Duhail both have two points, but the former are placed fourth in the group on better goal difference (-5 as against Al Duhail’s -8). Al Gharafa scored four goals and conceded nine.

Al Gharafa drew 2-2 with Al Duhail and 1-1 with Al Arabi. The Cheetahs lost their games against Qatar SC (0-3) and Al Khor (1-3).
