Al Rayyan face Al Sadd in Round 5 (Group A) of the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup at the Al Wakrah Stadium on Sunday.

Al Rayyan progressed to the knockout quarterfinals as the third team from the group with seven points, after Al Ahli (nine points) and Al Wakrah (eight points).

And the fight is between Al Sadd (four points) and Umm Salal (three points) for the remaining last-eight berth from the group.

Al Rayyan have two victories under their belt (3-0 against Al Shahania and 4-1 against Al Ahli). They drew 2-2 with Umm Salal and lost 0-1 to Al Wahrah in the last round.

The Lions have a goal difference of +5 (nine goals for and four against).

Al Sadd have four points from one win and a draw. They have a goal difference of -3 (nine goals for and 12 against).

Al Sadd lost 1-5 to Al Wakrah in the opening round, but overcame that by beating Al Shahania 3-1. However, The Wolves lost 3-4 to Al Ahli and were held 2-2 by Umm Salal in the last round.
