Al Arabi face Al Duhail in Round 5 (Group B) of the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup at the Al Shamal Stadium on Saturday.

Al Arabi had progressed to the quarterfinals following their 1-1 draw with Al Gharafa in the last round, as the third team behind Al Khor and Qatar SC.

Al Arabi have six points and are also unbeaten so far in the group stage like Al Khor and Qatar SC.

Al Arabi’s only victory came against Al Sailiya (2-1). The Dream Team drew their matches against Al Khor, Qatar SC and Al Gharafa, all by a 1-1 margin.

Al Arabi have a goal difference of +1 (five goals for and four against).

The fight for the fourth spot in the quarterfinals from Group B is between Al Duhail and Al Gharafa. Both have two points, but Al Gharafa are placed fourth on better goal difference (-5 as against Al Duhail’s -8).

Al Duhail drew two matches and lost as many, and are yet to record a win in this season’s tournament.

The Red Knights played out 2-2 draws with Al Gharafa and Al Sailiya. Their defeats were against Al Khor (0-7) and Qatar SC (0-1).
