Al Sailiya face Al Duhail in Round 3 (Group B) of the 2019-20 Ooredoo Cup at the Al Ahli Stadium on Friday.

Al Sailiya are the bottom-placed team in the group, having lost both their games. They are the only side yet to open their account. The Peregrines have a goal difference of -5 (one goal for and six against).

Al Sailiya are exactly in the same situation as that of Al Shahania in Group A, in terms of the number of defeats, goal difference and even the number of goals scored and conceded.

Al Sailiya lost 1-2 to Al Arabi last week and 0-4 to Qatar SC in the opening round.

Al Duhail are also coming from a big defeat as they lost to Al Khor by a 0-7 margin. They have yet to register a win and are fifth in the group with one point that they collected from their 2-2 draw with Al Gharafa in Round 1.

The Red Knights, the 2019-20 QNB Stars League table toppers, have a goal difference of -7 (two goals for and nine against).

Al Duhail will certainly try to compensate for the setback at the hands of Al Khor, while Al Sailiya will also seek their first victory.
