Al Khor take on Al Arabi in a 2019-20 season Ooredoo Cup Round 1, Group B match at the Al Arabi Stadium on Saturday.

Group B also has Al Sailiya, Qatar SC, Al Duhail and Al Gharafa.

The two teams had faced off in Week 6 of the QNB Stars League, which has taken a break due to international commitments, and Al Arabi beat Al Khor by a 3-1 margin in an exciting encounter.

Al Arabi are second in the league standings with 13 points and Al Khor 10th with four points.

Al Khor will definitely try to make up for that loss even though the Ooredoo Cup is a different tournament.

Both teams will miss the services of those who are doing duty for their national teams and also the injured players who are undergoing treatment.

Al Khor coach Omar Najhi will look to rectify some of the mistakes they made that cost them points in the QNB Stars League by making a strong start in the Ooredoo Cup.

On the other hand, Al Arabi coach Heimir Hallgrimson will be hoping that his wards extend their good run to the Ooredoo Cup.
