Al Thumama Stadium will host the match between Al Arabi and Al Shahania in Week 12 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League on Friday, January 10, 2025. The kick-off is at 6.30pm.

During the recent suspension of the league, due to the 26th Gulf Cup held in Kuwait, both teams engaged in rigorous training to enhance their technical and physical preparedness ahead of the resumption of competitive matches. Additionally, Al Arabi played in the final of QSL Cup, where they were defeated 2-1 by Al Duhail.
