Al Rayyan coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 11 match against Qatar SC.

“The match against Qatar SC will be difficult and of great importance to both teams. We are not satisfied with being in a late position. We are looking for victory and progress in the standings. We are also looking for the team’s character that appeared in the AFC Champions League Elite to be present in the next match, and to end the first leg with a victory and then think about the second stage of the league.

“The team is able to face any competitor, no matter how strong it is. Recently, there has been a difference in desire between the AFC Champions League Elite and the league. We aspire to transfer the desire that was present in the last match of the AFC Champions League to appear well against Qatar SC and get the three points,” said Younes.

Al Rayyan player Ameed Muhajneh said, “The team is ready to face Qatar SC. The match is outside our stadium and it will be difficult for both teams, and we will play to win the three points and get back on the right track.

“Every match has its own circumstances. I am able to play in any position and give my all for the benefit of the team and to achieve positive results. I had the opportunity to participate in the recent matches and proved myself through them.”
