Al Shahania will face Al Gharafa in a strong contest in Week 11 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Sunday, December 8, 2024. The kick-off is at 5.30pm.

The meeting between these two teams carries a lot of excitement and rivalry, especially since each of them seeks a win to collect valuable three points.

Al Shahania go into the round being in seventh place in the rankings with 11 points and ahead on goal difference from Umm Salal, placed eighth. Al Shahania had achieved an exciting 3-1 victory over Qatar SC in the previous week.

On the other hand, Al Gharafa are fourth in the rankings with 18 points from five wins, three draws and two losses. The team succeeded in defeating Al Wakrah 3-1 in Week 10, before facing two losses in the AFC Champions League Elite against Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia (1-3) in the fifth round and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia (0-3) in the sixth round.

The Ooredoo Stars League match for both Al Shahania and Al Gharafa will be open to all possibilities and either side will seek to do their best on the pitch to achieve victory and obtain the three points.

On the sidelines, the two coaches – Spaniard Alvaro Mejia of Al Shahania and Portuguese Pedro Martins of Al Gharafa – will aim to push their players to deliver their best and to gain a positive result in this final round of the first leg.
