Al Khor coach Mehdi Nafti spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 11 match against Al Duhail.

“We prepared well for this match and certainly we all know that we are facing leaders Al Duhail, who have excellent players in all departments, but we will play to win and achieve a positive result.

“We must work double hard and with all our strengths. The transfer period is approaching and we as technical staff and management know what the team needs and we must certainly improve our team during this period,” said Nafti.

Al Khor player Khaled Masoud said, “Our preparations were strong and we know that Al Duhail are leaders, but we worked to come out with a positive result and collect points.

“The team’s situation is difficult, so we must work double hard to get out of this area.

“We went through this stage before and got out of it, and now, God willing, we will get out of this difficult stage.”
