Al Sadd coach Felix Sanchez spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 5 match against Al Duhail.

“We have a very difficult match ahead of us, we will face Al Duhail who are currently leading the league, playing well at the beginning of the season and achieving good results and have a distinctive style of play.

“We will face a strong team, but we are confident that we are able to present a good match and a distinctive performance to get a positive result for us.

“Yes, it is the beginning of the season and we have certainly lost some points, we know that the level of the league is rising and every match has become difficult to win, but of course, as Al Sadd team, we want to get more points, we will work hard to do our best in order to achieve a good result against Al Duhail.

Felix addressed his message to Al Sadd players, saying: We must communicate about our match plan as we always do, to see how we can use our tools to achieve a good performance, this way we can get the result we expect,” said Sanchez.

Al Sadd player Ahmed Suhail said, “It is definitely a very difficult match, we at Al Sadd club have a great deal of focus and confidence in order to return to victories after the recent loss against Umm Salal.

“We always play for the three points and we have the morale to continue working, the leaders have great players and experience and we can balance greatly in order to provide the best locally and in Asia.”
