Al Khor coach Abdullah Mubarak spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 5 match against Al Shamal.

“We play with a collective system and we always try to work on correcting mistakes and achieving positive results. The team’s level in previous matches was good and we appeared in a good way and we only lacked a win, as you can see the strong defensive side of the team and now we are developing the offensive side to score more goals. We also miss top scorer Ayman Hussein and we hope for his return as soon as possible.

“Al Shamal are a good team and have distinguished players, but we have studied and analyzed their team and we are ready for this game. We have to exploit the opportunities well and I hope that we succeed in scoring goals against Al Shamal,” said Abdullah Mubarak.

Al Khor player Ahmed Al Mohannadi said, “We are fully prepared physically, psychologically and technically, and our morale is high and the players want to prove that on the field against Al Shamal. We want to collect the three points.

“The opponents are a good team and we are also a distinguished team. We have distinguished players and we aspire to win and add three new points to our tally. We prepared well for this match and worked on correcting the mistakes.”
