Al Arabi assistant coach Bruno Oliveira spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Gharafa.
“Al Gharafa are one of the best teams in the league and made good performances in the Ooredoo Cup.
“Al Gharafa are good and organized defensively, and have a strong attack, especially in the individual aspects and the counterattack.
“We are working on preparing the team with all seriousness, and we are well aware that the Al Gharafa team is characterized by seriousness in playing and strength, and therefore we are required to prepare well for this confrontation, and we must do our best to defeat Al Gharafa.
“The team had a very good dynamic, and was playing excellent football and we were performing well before the break. On return, you do not know what the team will be like, especially after some players joined the national teams, and how will the physical fitness be because of the Ooredoo Cup competitions.
“We put all our focus on the league because we are completely focused on the league, and we hope to maintain the same rhythm that we showed before the break, so that we can continue our way step by step, and get the best points from every game. We achieve the desired result,” said Oliveira.
Al Arabi player Marc Muniesa said, “Before the break, the team was achieving good results. We hope this continues after the return, and the team is training well and is well prepared for the match.
“We are working well and know that the upcoming matches are important, especially with the teams that chase us in the standings.”
