Al Shamal coach Hicham Jadrane spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Umm Salal.
“Indeed, each team comes from a loss in the previous round and, of course, seeks to win and compensate.
“We will play only to win and nothing else, but of course it will not be easy in light of facing a strong competitor who has players with good capabilities and offers good levels. Umm Salal’s ranking is not commensurate with their good levels.
“We have to prepare for Umm Salal and be on top of our focus to achieve the goal for which we will play the match, which is to win and collect the three points.
“Al Shamal are ready and all determined to win, and we hope to continue to provide the good levels that we offer in addition to achieving the desired positive result,” said Hicham.
Al Shamal player Mohsen Al Yazidi said, “Certainly, it will be a difficult confrontation.
“We are well-prepared. We have put behind the past matches and hope success will come our way, especially since our goal is to win and collect the three points. We will do everything in our power to achieve this goal.”
