Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 22 (final round) match against Umm Salal.

“First, we must thank the players and the entire team for their great level and effort in our match against Al Ahli. We played with high concentration, determination and persistence.

“The Umm Salal match is not easy and it is certain that each match has its circumstances and calculations, and this time Umm Salal seek to achieve a positive result that guarantees their survival and our goal is to come up with the three points to ensure our presence among the four leading teams. So I hope to play the match with the highest levels of focus and achieve victory. It is important that we should be more fierce and determined on the field.

“The current season is characterized by the strength of competition until the last round and the enthusiasm is present in the struggle for the title, as is the case in the bottom rung of the table. This type of strong competition indicates the efforts of those involved in football and development of the competition,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Badr Benoun said, “We are heading for a difficult match and every team is playing for victory.

“At the end of the season, I would like to thank everyone in Qatar SC especially since we had one of the best seasons for the club, and this work confirms the efforts of everyone in the team family, especially the administrative staff.”
