Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 8 match against Al Shahania.

“The team has reached a good level of readiness after the last round of the league. The match against Al Shahania is balanced on paper.

“We are fully prepared and the team is capable of delivering a performance that guarantees a positive result. The league matches are difficult and as we are a new team in the tournament and occupying last place, our goal is to achieve victory and improve our ranking,” said Mirghani.

Al Sailiya player Mohamed Taabouni said, “Al Sailiya are progressing steadily and the team’s results in the QSL Cup have given the players great confidence.

“Discipline and team spirit on the field are the team’s main pillars. Our readiness is high and we played well in the last rounds, and this has given us additional confidence. We strive to deliver the best possible performance and please our fans.”
