Qatar SC face Al Sadd in Week 19 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League at the Qatar SC Stadium on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The kick-off is at 21:45.

With the league championship already in its exciting business end phase, teams are pushing hard to gain points seeking for best finishes.

Similarly, both Al Sadd and Qatar SC will be looking for a win to reap the valuable three points and as such there will be a lot of excitement in the contest.

Al Sadd have qualified for the semifinals of Amir Cup by defeating Umm Salal 3-1 in the quarterfinals.

On the other hand, Qatar SC bid farewell to the King Salman Club Cup in the preliminary round following a 1-1 draw against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the return leg played in Doha on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Qatar SC had held Sfaxien to a goalless draw in the first-leg match in the Tunisian city of Sfax. Sfaxien won on away-goal rule and qualified for the next round on aggregate score.

In the QNB Stars League, Qatar SC are ranked sixth with 26 points and have a postponed match against Al Rayyan remaining.

Defending champions Al Sadd are currently third with 35 points.

The first-leg meeting between Al Sadd and Qatar SC had ended in the former’s favour 2-0.

Saturday’s game represents equal opportunity for both teams as Qatar SC seek to move up into the top four while Al Sadd aim to achieve victory in order to collect full points and move closer to the second place and keep up the team’s hopes of competing for the QNB Stars League title.

The matches between Qatar SC and Al Sadd have always witnessed excitement. All indications again point towards another challenging battle, given the rivals’ desire to progress.

It is difficult to differentiate much between the two sides, given their strength and abilities to win.
