Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 22 (final round) match against Al Wakrah.

“We had a goal and that was to keep hope until the last round, and we succeeded in achieving that. We continue to hope to stay in the league and now face Al Wakrah, and we must win.

“We focus on ourselves and our goal is to win the next match and stay in the league. The atmosphere in the team is very positive and reassuring at the technical and psychological levels, and we count on the strong reaction from the players that we saw of late and are able to win and we have no other choice,” said Mirghani.

Al Sailiya player Ali Jassemi said, “The match against Al Wakrah is very difficult as they exhibited a distinguished level this season.

“The atmosphere in the team is very positive, especially since we have recently presented outstanding performance and positive results, in addition to competition among all players in training for each position in order to be in the starting lineup, and this gives the team strength, spirit and determination to win.”
