Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Ahli.

“We benefited greatly from the Ooredoo Cup matches, which made the players ready at the physical and technical levels, and gave us the opportunity to field all players and test their readiness.

“Before the break, we had performed well, but we were not successful in terms of results. Our match against Al Ahli is difficult and important because Al Sailiya are in a bad situation. A positive result must be achieved against Al Ahli in order for the players to get a strong morale boost. That will help us in the next stage,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Ghanem Al Qahtani said, “The preparations were good, especially on the psychological and moral side, and we worked during the break to regain our strength. Al Ahli are a difficult side, but that does not prevent us from searching for victory and obtaining the three points, and there is no alternative to winning.

“We are ready and confident that we will get out of this difficult situation. I hope that the Al Ahli match will be a strong start for us in compensating for the lost points.”
