League leaders Al Rayyan were held to a 0-0 draw by Al Gharafa in a closely-contested 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 6 clash at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium of Al Gharafa club on Sunday.

The match saw Al Rayyan dominate possession, but struggle to break down a resilient Al Gharafa defence.

Al Rayyan, who entered the game unbeaten and sitting atop the table, created more chances, but were denied by solid goalkeeping and defensive organisation from the hosts.

Al Gharafa, currently in the lower half of the standings, earned a valuable point against the table toppers.

The result left Al Rayyan with 14 points from six matches, still leading the standings, while Al Gharafa moved on to five points.
