Al Sailiya face Al Rayyan in Week 19 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League at the Al Ahli Stadium on Friday, April 14, 2023. The kick-off is at 21:45.

The meeting is crucial for both teams, especially since they are eager to win and collect the three valuable points to steer clear of the relegation zone.

Al Sailiya will enter the match being 12th in the standings with nine points from 18 games, having won two, lost 13 and drawn three matches.

Al Rayyan are placed 10th with 16 points, but have two postponed matches in hand, against Al Duhail and Qatar SC.

The first-leg match between the two teams had ended with Al Rayyan winning 2-0. But with their good current form, Al Sailiya will look to get even.

The match will be a great opportunity for the two teams to adjust their positions, and winning it may give either of them more confidence to complete the rest of the difficult league campaign.

Al Sailiya succeeded in defeating Al Duhail in the Amir Cup quarterfinal recently, winning 5-4 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in regular time, thereby qualifying for the prestigious tournament’s semifinals.
