Umm Salal coach El Karkouri spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 22 (final round) match against Qatar SC.

“Of course, the match will be strong and difficult because we seek to avoid relegation and Qatar SC seek top-four finish. We must stay highly focused on the pitch.

“I trust my team and players, and I ask them to focus, not rush, and avoid mistakes, in addition to having a fighting spirit in order to win and avoid relegation. It will be very important and difficult game,” said El Karkouri.

Umm Salal player Abdulrahman Raafat said, “The game against Qatar SC is crucial. Only winning can save us, therefore we will play for the three points and there is no choice but to win.

“We will go into the match with great strength and desire, and all players are fully aware of the situation. We have to fight hard to win this match.”
