Al Sadd coach Jesualdo Ferreira spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Qatar SC.

“This is a new opportunity for us to cement our position in the league. Everyone knows that we have five games ahead of us and we consider Qatar SC as difficult opponents because they are in a position that does not match their capabilities, so they will throw everything into the game. But we are ready.

“We seek to win all upcoming games. Our chance to win the title depends on our results and not that of other teams. We will not say that we are the champions until it is all over. We have to be at the top of our focus and should not make any mistakes during the upcoming matches.

“For me, all matches are important. We have lost points to less powerful teams than the strong ones. We had lost our chances of winning the league in the last few seasons. We have to take advantage of the situation,” said Ferreira.
