Middle-order teams in the table Al Wakrah, eighth with nine points, are sure to throw everything into the game when they play host to Al Ahli, who defeated Umm Salal 1-0 in the last round and moved from seventh to sixth position with 13 points.
Al Khor, 10th with five points, will have a tough task when they host Al Duhail, who are leading the standings with 23 points.
Reigning champions Al Sadd, fourth with 15 points, will target nothing less than three points when they travel to Al Gharafa Stadium to face Qatar SC, placed ninth with nine points.
