Al Duhail coach Rui Faria spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Sailiya.

“I’m confident in our players’ ability to achieve a positive result against Al Sailiya. There’s no doubt that the match will be tough. Al Sailiya are a difficult team which has a distinguished coach. He has good players capable of executing his tactical plan.

“Our preparations went off well. Players have been performing well in training. There was determination on their part to continue on the winning path.

“Regarding the injury to midfielder Asim Madibo, he’ll be missed for sure, but the team has many players who can replace others. We won’t rue the absence of any player, we’ve players who can help the team win points.

“I hope that (Paulo) Edmilson will be ready for this game. He went through a difficult period because of the illness that kept him away from action,” said Faria.
