Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Umm Salal.
“The break was very long, but the Ooredoo Cup matches were useful to maintain the level of players, especially from the physical side. We worked very hard. We also played some friendly matches.
“We will try to put up a good show against Umm Salal, who have had a series of negative results despite the fact that they have some outstanding players.
“They have a new coach who can boost the morale of the team. But we are interested in performing at our best level and will fight hard to achieve victory.
“Our target in the league is to make better results than last season. And to make progress in next year’s AFC Champions League.
“There will be no absence in our side against Umm Salal, except Bilal Saidani who had received a red card before the league took a break,” said Trabelsi.
