Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Al Rayyan.

“The game is obviously important for both teams as competition for the third place is intense. Al Rayyan are not at their best at the moment, but they have the experience and players who can make a difference.

“We are now in a good position (third place), which was not achieved by accident, but by the efforts of the players, who exhibited discipline and professionalism. I wish them success as we are keen on finishing among the top four.

“Whoever wins will have 90 per cent of chances to finish third. Against Al Shahania, we focused on getting full points and that was the best we could do.

“It is true that a draw will be a good result as Al Rayyan are our direct competitors. However, if you play for draw, you may lose the match,” said Trabelsi.
