Defender Ibrahim Majed was back in training as the Al Sadd squad will leave for Iranian capital Tehran on Sunday to play their AFC Champions League semifinal second leg against Persepolis. The match is scheduled at the Azadi Stadium on Tuesday, 23rd October.

Ibrahim was missing in action since Al Sadd’s 1-1 draw with Al Gharafa in Week 3 of this season’s QNB Stars League with a torn muscle. He had been undergoing a rehabilitation programme.

Al Sadd, who have won the Asian title in 1989 and 2011, hope to overturn a 0-1 defeat to Persepolis in the first leg in Doha.
