Umm Salal coach Laurent Banide spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Al Arabi.
“It’s a difficult game. It’s important for us to play well and build on our big victory over Al Ahli in the last round. It was an interesting game as we could score many goals (they won by a 4-1 margin).
“We now hope to continue our good work and improve step by step. We know that Al Arabi are strong opponents. We are upbeat that we’re creating more moves and passes. We showed our real potential during the game against Al Ahli.
“We must sustain the momentum. All our players are ready to take the field. We’ve no injury or suspension worries. New striker Christian Osaguona has recovered from his injury and should start the match.
“We know our strengths and weaknesses. We must correct our mistakes. It’s important in our forward journey in the QNB Stars League. We will be able to enjoy our game after achieving a good position in the standings,” said Banide.
