Al Sadd coach Xavi Hernandez spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Umm Salal.

“I had watched Umm Salal’s match against Al Rayyan. It was a strong show by Umm Salal. They played well, so we have to be focused because we are the favourites to win the match, but  the game will be very difficult.

“In the coming period, we will play many games, we have planned this stage with the fitness coach in order to avoid fatigue and injuries. I’m happy that we have to play many games in a short time and our goal is to win all matches, be it in Qatar or Asia.

“All clubs have strengthened their squads. It benefits Qatar football. The league has become obviously stronger than in the past seasons,” said Xavi.
