Qatar SC coach Carlos Alos Ferrer spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 1 match against Al Duhail.

“We’ll play the first official game of the season against a big team like Al Duhail. There’re significant changes in the level of our players, especially the professionals. As a coach, it’s my responsibility to build a team having good professional players and I’m fully convinced about their quality. The same is case with our national players. I’m happy with ambience in the team camp.

“I had watched Al Duhail in action in the AFC Champions League and Sheikh Jassim Cup. I know the details of these games and it’ll be a helpful factor for me. At the same time, it’s a positive factor for Al Duhail that they played in official matches. We know everything about them and they know nothing about our team.

“But in the end, we’ll face a strong team in Qatar and Asia, and we expect to provide the required level.

“We won’t talk about the past and I know everything that happened last season. We’ve plans to make the squad really competitive,” said Ferrer.
