The Qatar Stars League’s (QSL) Extraordinary General Assembly meeting was held on Monday, 1st April, 2019, at the St Regis Hotel under the chairmanship of Mr. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Boenain, Board Member of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and a member of Executive Committee of QSL.

Mr. Jassim Al Rumaihi, Mr. Nasser Al Hitmi, representatives of clubs, Mr. Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, representative of the Qatar Players Association, and Presidents and representatives of the clubs were present at the assembly, which was also attended by the QSL CEO and media representatives.

The General Assembly started with the speech of Mr. Al Boenain, who welcomed the attendees and declared the Extraordinary General Assembly open, in accordance with the Articles of Association. The minutes of the previous meeting held on 3rd June, 2018, were approved and members were appointed to review the meeting.

The amended regulations were approved by the joint committee formed with the representative of QFA, representatives of football club companies and QSL after the resolution was passed unanimously.
