QNB Stars League side Al Ahli players continued their remote training under the supervision of technical staff led by coach Nebojsa Jovovic.
All players, except Barou Siddiqui who is recuperating from an injury, are going through their paces under the technical staff in order to maintain their physical fitness ahead of the resumption of 2019-20 QNB Stars League, which has been stopped as part of the preventive measures taken against the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
Player Ali Kadiri also continued his rehabilitation programme as he is recovering from an injury.
Al Ahli Team Manager Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi said all players were committed to the training programmes specially designed for them in order to maintain their fitness level.
He said coach Nebojsa was keenly monitoring the players through electronic devices.
He added the training programme would change daily by the technical staff and assistants, and that players were engaged in stay-at-home games in order to maintain their mental fitness as well.
The official explained that the technical staff were exploring the possibilities of conducting a test at the club for players to check on their fitness rate. The tests would take into account the precautionary measures and safe distances, as the coach plans to do a fitness test for each player on a daily basis.
